Chapter 148: 148 - Herobrine Bless

As the game was still in the early stages, the Players didn't even have a Gold coin, so even renting land was almost impossible for them, so with no official place, the Players found a cave that didn't spawn monsters and decided to make that place their temporary base.

Despite the place being rustic, there were at least 80 Players in that cave talking and laughing while exchanging knowledge about the dark magic of Warlocks and what they could do to be blessed by the God of Darkness. 𝒻𝓇𝘦𝘦𝘸𝘦𝒷𝓃𝑜𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

The Dark God really was something that Alex had created, so if they really put their mind to it, it was actually possible for them to achieve this.

Theoretically, all classes could be blessed by a God or a Spirit, but even the blessing from one Player to another depended on how much the Player dedicated himself to that being.

The Buff that Thor received was 20% on his Skills, but depending on how Thor acts, he can increase this buff to up to 100%!

Alex thought it would take a few months for these Players to get their first blessing, but it was really difficult to control the seventh natural disaster, the Players.

Seeing the Warlocks worshiping dark gods and demons to obtain blessings wasn't surprising at all, but one of the beings these Players were worshiping made Alex freeze.

In one of the paintings drawn by the Players, in a place where 5 Players were kneeling and praying, the drawing in that painting was a very well-known figure in other games.

[Herobrine]

Yes, these Players were all wearing black clothes as they knelt in the center of a pentagram and prayed to Herobrine.

But the most surprising thing for Alex was that this was a little familiar to him.

'Where have I seen these Players before?' Alex asked himself confused.

'Oasis, convey these Players' prayers to me.' Alex ordered the Oasis AI.

Suddenly, Alex started listening to what these Players were saying and finally understood why these Players were so familiar.

Weren't these Players the Players who were killed by him in the Hypixel invasion because he was making an offering to Herobrine?!

'Haven't they given up trying to worship Herobrine yet?' Alex was surprised.

To say that he wasn't moved at all would be a lie, as you could see that even after almost a year these Players were still dedicated to praying for him.

'How about I give them a little blessing?' Alex asked himself a little uncertainly.

He did not want the official religion of the Warlocks to become Herobrine due to his oversight, as he wanted the Lore of that world to develop naturally.

But seeing these Players so dedicated to him made Alex's heart soften a little.

'I think just a small gift wouldn't be a problem, right? I already know!' Alex thought as he controlled Oasis to put these Players into an Illusion.

Vorath was the Nickname of the leading Player of these 5 Herobrine worshipers.

Ever since they saw Herobrine in person at the Hypixel invasion, Vorath and his friends were devoted to worshiping Herobrine, as the way Herobrine acted was so badass.

Unfortunately they didn't get any results in the other games, he and his friends were even almost giving up on it, until the post about Paladin [Thor] caught the attention of Vorath, who got together with his friends and other Warlock Players to try to find out who their God would be.

Out of habit, Vorath decided to try praying to Herobrine, something they considered their last attempt.

For the first few minutes, nothing was happening, something that started to really disappoint Vorath.

'I think maybe we'd better give up?' Vorath asked himself a little disappointed.

Until suddenly, Vorath began to feel as if the world was spinning.

Startled, Vorath opened his eyes and saw as if the world was being sucked into a black hole.

The other Warlocks were being sucked in, but apparently they didn't even notice what was happening, just his other 4 friends who were looking around desperately.

But this feeling didn't last long, in a few seconds they had fallen into a black place.

Everything around him was black, the floor, the walls, the ceiling, everything was black, as if the space was infinite.

"What is happening?" One of Vorath's friends asked a little scared.

"I don't know..." Vorath replied in confusion as he looked around.

Until suddenly, two points of white light appeared in front of them.

Looking at those two points of Light, Vorath felt his blood freeze as a euphoria surged through his body.

Without thinking twice, Vorath knelt on the ground as he screamed. "Vorath presents himself to Lord Herobrine!"

Seeing Vorath acting like this, the other 4 Players quickly knelt down and did the same thing.

"Have you guys been looking for my blessing for so long?" Herobrine asked in an icy and mysterious voice.

Vorath soon understood that Herobrine recognized them and smiled as he responded. "Yes, my lord, since that day we have been dedicating ourselves to obtaining your blessing."

After Vorath's response, silence hung in the air for a few seconds, until a sigh came from Herobrine.

"You really surprised me with your dedication, but you are looking for the wrong God in this world. In Azeroth my power is limited, since I am not a God here, but since you five have dedicated yourself so much, I can give you a small gift , you will just have to keep our contact a secret, if any of you tell other Players about me the blessing will be canceled immediately." Herobrine said in a cold voice.

Hearing this, the five Players felt their hearts speed up even as they nodded their heads.

Who in their right mind would be foolish enough to tell the secret of a God to other Players?

With an apparent nod from Herobrine, which they only noticed because of the slight movement of his glowing eyes, Vorath and his friends felt a power entering their bodies.

Curious, Vorath looked at his stats and saw that he received a 10% boost to his stats, only half of what Thor received from the God of Light, but that was nothing for them to complain about, especially since they noticed in the name of the blessing. that this was just an initial blessing, that is, this blessing could be improved over time!

Looking around, Vorath saw that the eyes of his four friends were faintly glowing with a white light, something very reminiscent of Herobrine!

Oasis also had an option for the Player to buy an eye glow like Herobrine to use as a Skin, but in ESW this wasn't just a Skin, but a true recognition of Herobrine for them!

The weight it had was much greater than it seemed.

With a smile on his face, which the Players couldn't see, Herobrine waved his hand and sent these Players back to the cave they were in.

'I think that way they were happy for a while, right?' Alex wondered as he laughed.
