But seeing the man kill him without even blinking an eye, Magneto realized that the worst thing he had done was decide to go against this man.

Thinking about his idiotic idea of ??trying to kill Notch and surrendering if it didn't work, Magneto was frustrated because he hadn't believed that Notch would have the courage to kill him in the same way, and now he was paying for it.
