To handle the troublesome raiders in the southern frontier, the monsters summoned must be agile and speedy. Not only that, these creatures have to cover a vast expanse and protect the logistical route.

It was a lot to demand, but his monsters could act upon the task at hand.

Damien glanced at his status and saw four monsters that seemed perfect for the mission. These were Garmr, Griffin, Fenrir, and Shadow Wolf.

These four were capable of protecting the logistical route between the frontlines and the headquarters of the Third Division. No matter what the Clan did, their logistics would never break.

With this in mind, Damien turned his attention towards the others and remarked. "Block 7 will protect the route towards the frontlines."

"But how could six people guard a route that spanned over a thousand kilometers?" The leader of the logistics personnel questioned, utterly confused by the proposition.

"That isn't something you should worry about. The Seventh Division has its way." Francine answered, lifting her golden-tinted glasses ever so slightly.

Her sapphire-like eyes were piercing, forcing the leader to take a step back and nod in understanding. "I understand... When will we depart for the frontlines?"

"You will depart in an hour. By then, the logistical chain of the southern frontier shall start revolving." Damien answered, gesturing to the logistic personnel to leave the area.

One after another, they left. It didn't take long before only members of the Seventh Division remained. Alastair tilted her head, a grin plastered across her face.

"Interesting proposition you have there, Damien."

"Logistics are important in war, Miss Alastair. We cannot afford to delay." Damien smiled and continued. "I will be handling the protection of the rear."

"On the other hand, all of you will be reinforcing the frontlines. I don't know how many True Bloods will be in the vanguard forces of the Clan."

"But they are bound to be troublesome, regardless."

Hearing the words of the black-suited young man, none were against the plan he had in mind. The frontlines needed the reinforcements of Block 7 the most.

Since Damien could command an army, he was the best Jaeger who could control an entire area without much of a problem.

No more words were wasted as the members of Block 7 made their leave. Damien was left behind, watching their backs as his lips curved into a subtle smile.

These were his comrades, the only ones he trusted amongst the millions that remained in the New World.

A lot has occurred since his awakening from that intersection, and reality was unravelling. Mysteries were resurfacing in the present, as though emerging for him to uncover.

Damien turned his gaze towards the windows and saw the desolate wasteland of the southern frontier. Before, he had marched the entirety of his army towards the Clan.

It was the first, yet it felt the best for him.

"I wonder when the others would answer the call."

It wasn't only the Seventh Division that was called to fight on the southern frontier. Other Blocks of SIGIL were also summoned.

Unfortunately, it appears they were running late. Whether it was on purpose or not, it doesn't matter. While Block 7 was the strongest amongst the divisions.

The Federation and SIGIL were not established to battle in a fractured state. It needed to be unified, standing in a single banner.

"Who knows... Maybe sooner or later, I'll meet them. For now, it looks like I should focus on what I can do." Damien smirked and summoned Yuki. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

The lights flickered as a beautiful ghost lady materialized into existence. Her skin was as pale as white, frost radiating from her existence.

"How may this servant assist you, Lord Oberon?" Yuki bowed, her yukata dripped over her body, embracing its gentle grace.

"I want you to lead Spectre and cause trouble in the northernmost city of the Clan. Spawn as much chaos as possible." Damien commanded, planning to disrupt the Clan.

The vampires must pay the cost of disrupting their logistical route. Though even if there were no raiders, he would have done the same regardless.

After all, strategy and tactics might win a war. But logistics maintains the war machine.

Without the former, there would be a war of attrition. Without the latter, there would be no war at all.

"It shall be done, my lord." Yuki bowed once again, her hair tied neatly behind her as she flickered out of existence.

Now that the Spectre has been mobilized to cause trouble, it was time for his chosen monsters to stop the raiders from disrupting the supply lines of the southern frontier.

Damien blinked towards the rooftop of the headquarters and summoned Shadow Wolf. An entity formed within his shadows, emerging from it and looming behind him.

Its tail wagged as it towered over the black-suited young man who was its master.

Afterward, he summoned Garmr. The earth shook for a moment as an abomination from hell itself materialized. Its two devilish pairs of eyes gazed upon its master, reverence gleaming from within.

It barked, making Damien smile at the hound that seemed ugly and cute at the same time. "It appears that some of my monsters are just big dogs."

"My preference perhaps?" He tilted his head, placing a finger beneath his chin. At any rate, he continued to summon the others as well. The next one was Griffin.

A piercing cry rang from the heavens as the Griffin descended with prideful grace. It fluttered its feathered wings, winds dancing within its control.

It landed beside its master, chirping while shoving its face to Damien. He chuckled and patted its beak. "It has been a while, my friend."

He recalled their first time together in the northern fringes of the New World. From that moment on, he had changed and became much stronger than ever before.

While his personal power couldn't rival the Paragons or True Bloods, it was enough to overwhelm everything else.

Combined with his monster army, even Paragons or True Bloods wouldn't be threats. Unless their power was so overwhelming that tricks and tactics fail before them.

The final monster amongst the four was Fenrir. When Damien summoned the strongest wolf of the Norse, the empty skies became stormy as a howl resonated from the distance.

As thunder descended from the skies, a gargantuan wolf materialized behind the black-suited young man.

He looked at the summoned monster, his sable-tinted gaze observing with scrutiny. "I have another task for you, pal."

Fenrir wagged its tail, awaiting further orders from its master. Lighting crackled along its grayish fur as its golden eyes radiated divine brilliance.

The four monsters had finally been assembled. Each one of them was much smaller than its actual size. Even then, they towered over Damien like a looming building.

Otherwise, if they emerged with their correct proportions. The rooftop of the Third Division's headquarters would have long collapsed.

In any case, Damien turned his gaze towards the blurred horizon and saw a long convoy of dozens of supply trucks heading towards the frontlines.

Following behind were helicopters whose crew looked upon the gathering of monsters, utterly dumbfounded. The operation had begun.

Glancing at his summoned monsters, Damien briefed them on their task. "I want you to protect the supply route between the frontlines and the headquarters."

"Raiders will try to destroy the trucks and helicopters heading towards the frontlines, so I want you to terminate them before they can harm a single vehicle."

"Leave none alive."

When they heard his command, the monsters didn't hesitate and leaped off the rooftop. The logistical route was divided into four areas where his monsters would operate.

It was the most efficient way to utilize them.

"With the war about to start... Should I start acquiring more four-star monsters?" He opened his status, observing his Terror Points.
