?The phantom is unlike anything I have seen before; the beast is anything I have seen before.

It has a round head that looks like a cow and three horns in a straight line on its temple. It had four legs with claws twice thicker than average.

The beast is made of whirling patterns, the same ones that were covering the women. So, it is not a real beast, but it is making me feel; that it is real.

These patterns are absorbing the energies crazily, which isn't visible. The energies they are absorbing couldn't even be sensed by the normal Sky Sovereigns.

The patterns absorb the energies and convert it, before sending to the woman. It is all happening, without creating the slightest fluctuation; I would struggle to achieve something like these with such massive energies.

'I shouldn't wait anymore,' I thought, seeing her absorbing energy and moving toward her with attack.

It had been only a second since the beast phantom appeared and already absorbed a massive amount of energy. Giving the phantom more time wouldn't be a good thing.

Roar!

I was halfway toward the woman when she let out a wild roar that shook my heart before leaping at me.

There was no change in her movements. They were the same as before, but there seemed to be wildness in them. It made me feel I shouldn't make my moves based on the past data or I would end up regretting it.

I decided to listen to my heart rather than my mind as I swung my sword toward the woman.

As I did, I received such a surprise that made me glad, that listened to my heart.

Her saber came, and it was fast and powerful, which is to be expected to give the energies the beast is pouring into her, but what is more, is the movement in which she swung her saber.

It didn't feel like the attack of the saber at all, but the attack of the claw, that is covering the saber.

CLANNNNG!

The saber clashed, and I felt like I had been hit by a crashing mountain, if that wasn't enough, then came the massive roiling energies. They are bursting volcanoes, wanting to destroy everything in their paths.

Puch!

I vomited the blood and began to take a step back while watching the woman in shock.

I had expected the attack to be powerful, but not this powerful. It has ruptured my internal organs and broken my bones with the sheer power of the physical attack.

If the energy had hit me, I would have been a goner.

Thankfully, despite its massive amount and roiling momentum, my armor was able to contain it. The energy was extremely dangerous, so much so that if even 10% of it had hit me, it would have torn me apart.

She roared like a beast again, with her eyes wild, and came at me, while the phantom surrounding her absorbed a massive amount of power and pour into her.

'Use defensive methods. They couldn't sustain the beast mode for long,' came a voice in my head.

It is from the four-armed women.

'Thank you,' I replied to her before swinging my sword toward the coming attack of the scaled woman.

Of course, I knew about the beast's thrall and how they couldn't sustain it for long, but I had no intention of using my shield. I will fight her with my sword; I want to fight her with my swords.

It might seem idiotic and suicidal, but I rarely come across such enemies, and I want to fight a bloody battle.

Though I am not a big idiot and thus use the shield. If I felt like I couldn't fight against her with my sword anymore.

Till then, I would use my sword.

CLANNNNNG!

Once again, her saber clashed against my sword and made me vomit before sending me back with cracked bones.

Roar!

She roared angrily, and the phantom glowed brightly, absorbing more energies around, that now, one could sense them if concentrated.

She came at me again and attacked.

I moved my sword toward her saber, using every ounce of energy I had, but it still wasn't enough. I wanted to use the shield immediately, but I resisted the urge and continued moving my sword forward.

CLANNNNNG CLANNNNNG CLANNNNG!

My sword clashed against her saber, and it was such force that I heard my bones cracking and nearly shot back, but barely stopped and started to take a step back, with each step of mine creating a small crater on the ground.

She didn't stop and came at me again, without giving me a chance, and attacked.

I defended, once again stopping myself from flying back, but getting more injuries that really wanted to use the shield.

A few more seconds passed, and I continued, getting more and more injured.

It made me really glad that I didn't hold back from using those precious resources to create the healing medicines for the formation. They are the only things that are kept in a fighting shape.

If not for them, I would have already been six feet under the ground.

Still, I have reached my limit, a few more attacks, and even that powerful healing formation won't be able to help me.

Buzz!

Another attack came from her and was about to clash against my sword when suddenly a formation lit up.

CLANNNNNG!

I clashed, and blood flew out of my mouth, and I started to take a step back, but this time, there was no thought of summoning the shields on my face, but a bloody grin.

My clone had finished with the adjustment and now, these attacks won't be as powerful as they were anymore.

Their power had been reduced by more than a quarter.

The physical attack that, the women were launching at me were no simple physical attacks. It had come with the powerful vibration of forbidden power.

It is what that was, breaking the bones and rupturing my internals, but now with this formation. Those vibrations won't be as effective on me as they were before.

Now I could finally think about killing her.
