Netheril’s Glory-Chapter 69: The Battle.
The first spell Punk cast was an official-level summoning spell to summon an Earth Elemental.
When dealing with huge opponents such as the illusion demon, Glabrezu, with only close-range battle skills, one should be careful not to get close.. Although the Glabrezu in front of Punk seemed to be a newly promoted type, still Punk did not dare to take it lightly. He has to be especially careful about its illusion technique; if he accidentally got hit by it............ then basically, it was game over!
It was a good idea to summon an earth elemental to help absorb some of the damage. This crazy demon was obviously not sane enough to consider killing the summoner first, so when it saw the more conspicuous earth elemental, it did not hesitate to use its giant claws entangled with the chaotic breath to hit the earth elemental.
Large tracts of soils and rocks were stripped off, and three deep gullies appeared in the earth elemental's chest. A chaotic and filthy aura immediately engulfed the earth elemental. The earth elemental that had been moving smoothly until a moment ago became Stiff and started to tremble.
"Filthy Strike!"
This melee spell was an innate spell of the Illusion demons. As this attack landed, some gray-colored lines appeared on a large area of the body of the earth elemental.
Punk could feel it, in just a short period of time, the abyssal filth had completely eroded the magic core of the earth elemental...
Seeing that his earth elemental was torn to pieces by the enemy's two claws, Punk's pupils shrank slightly. This demon's levels surpassed his by at least three small levels.
Although Punk knew that he could restrain this demon by using some positive energy spell, after all, this Illusion demon was just one big silly target, who only knew how to attack and didn't use any clever tactic, but those positive spells could very well attract more and stronger demons, so Punk could only try using other tactics that could take full advantage of the characteristics of this demon of not avoiding any attacks…
Punk once again summoned another earth elemental. Again the main purpose of this earth elemental was just to block attacks so that Punk's spellcasting would not be interrupted, and the Illusion Demon was also very cooperative; it completely ignored Punk in the distance and rushed toward the earth elemental that kept roaring in front of it............
Now it was Punk's turn.
Several familiar kinetic energy bursts were shot out instantly, and five or six lavender color energy balls hit the unsuspecting demon at a speed that was at least fifty times faster than the speed of sound.
"Explosion!"
Accompanied by the burst of roar and the violent turbulence of air, the dark black carapace covered with spurs on the head of the Illusion demon was immediately shattered by the extremely destructive kinetic energy explosions, and a large amount of fishy blood was spilled out. After this hit, all the eyes of the illusion demon were blown to bits, and it let out a loud scream that reverberated in the nearby areas. Although these wounds were recovering at a speed that was visible to the naked eyes, it would still take at least two minutes to regain its sight.
This sudden huge injury not only didn't make the Illusion Demon retreat but made it even more excited.
That's right! It was pure excitement.
Punk could even clearly feel this sudden mood swing emanating from the demon. There was not a single trace of fear or caution but only excitement and the craving for blood!
"What a lunatic!"
Punk cursed in a low voice. He once again blessed himself with a hovering spell, and with the already applied Swiftness spell, now Punk's speed and maneuverability even surpassed a fighter jet, but even so, Punk still didn't dare to relax as this kind of demons had a "grappling" skill similar to warrior's charging skills. This skill allowed a big guy like this demon to make a quick charge. The description that Punk remembered from the inherited memory was just "fast speed," so he didn't know the actual speed of this charge, and because of it, he could only continue to accelerate his speed.
The decision to speed up was undoubtedly the right one. The completely blinded Illusion demon started to attack frantically. The filthy abyssal energy on its huge claws became more and more condensed, and the rapid swing left a trail of blood-red energy field around it. The violent attacks consist of filthy Abyssal energy tore through the air and left many blood-red gullies on the ground!
Punk was flying very fast while also releasing kinetic energy burst one after another, but most of the kinetic energy balls were blocked by the demon's blood-red claws. This Illusion demon didn't yet spawn its own weapon, but the power of "Filthy Strike" alone was enough to resist Punk's "kinetic energy burst." Of course, some damage to the claws was unavoidable, but for a demon with super-regenerative ability, this little injury was not worth mentioning.
Occasionally, some lavender kinetic energy balls broke through the defensive line made with its wildly waving paws, and it caused many wounds to appear on the body of the Illusion Demon, and a large amount of blood came out from it, dying its dark black carapace red.
But to an official-level demon, these severe wounds could only be regarded as minor injuries. While it looked bloody and miserable, in fact, these wounds didn't even affect its attack speed.
And now one of the eyes of the Illusion demon had already recovered, and it began to launch attacks targeting Punk, who was now flying around the illusion demon while carefully avoiding the scope of its Illusion techniques. The Illusion demon was, although crazy, but it wasn't to the point of brainlessness, so seeing that the target wasn't within range, it didn't use any illusion technique, but the filthy strikes did not stop from the beginning to the end.
For the Illusion demon, the consequence of being hit by many of Punk's attacks was some minor injury, but for Punk, if he got hit by a filthy strike of the illusion demon, he would definitely receive serious injury!
But of course, with the system's analysis, it was basically impossible for a random attack to hit him. In theory, Punk could ultimately make this insane demon consume all its energy; after all, even if the enemy's level was higher, It was impossible to sustain its crazy consumption. This was the conclusion that Punk had drawn after analyzing the chaotic energy storm around the demon.
But Punk was really worried about the situation where this lunatic's big moves attracted another one or even another group of demons.
Thinking about this, Punk didn't intend to entangle with this guy anymore. He used an official-level "advanced stun spell" on the Illusion demon. Although this spell would have a limited effect on a demon of this level, it was still enough to stop its attacks for a few seconds.
Within this small time frame, when the demon became stunted, Punk hurriedly used a spell at the feet of the devil. The unprepared and stunted demon fell on the ground and blew away a huge blood-colored dust cloud, and its sharp bone spurs poked many holes in the ground.
It seemed like it was a little dizzy as it shook its ugly head while struggling to get up.
"Stay down obediently."
It could not stand up even if it wanted to as Punk's next spell had already arrived.
Official-level conjuration spells-"kinetic energy suppression."
A huge lavender shock wave continued to pour down on the thick dark legs of the Illusion demon. With the continuous burst of energy and physical impact, its wide legs began to make a crackling sound. The demon let out a scream at a very high volume, which again blew away a large cloud of dust!
Due to the huge size of the Illusion Demon, Punk's kinetic energy suppression spell couldn't completely cover its entire body, so he could only target the second best-suited area, its legs, in order to destroy its ability to move.
