Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 802: Alphaverse
At the center of the golden dome.
Kael’s body was being slashed left and right but the power of the almighty laws.
From every single angle, he was being battered.
His body was not outright obliterated but it was torn enough that his insides could be seen.
Still, Kael gnashed his teeth and continued on.
The thing he had worked on, the thing he had always wanted to achieve, and independent power unfettered by the other laws, had successfully been completed.
During the evolution session, besides ascending to become an immortal, Kael had wanted to take advantage of everything to forge the Law of Conquering.
Or rather, reforge it.
The Law of Conquering was like molten metal in this case and the other laws that Kael had summoned were more like the hammers, shaping it into place.
Now, Kael already had a very fantastic shape in mind. That is, he already knew what kind of power he was trying to make the Law of Conquering become. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
All he needed was the power of the laws with the force of the universe to compress it into what he wanted.
Creating a whole new world was not easy.
Especially since Kael was creating it with one Law at its center only.
This was what Kael could afford, and it was also what he wanted specifically.
A world that was governed by nothing but the Law of Conquering. No other law.
The universe he was in was under the manifestation of three thousand laws or so. In Kael’s world, there will be only one Law.
It would be an independent world where everything was possible under the power of that one law.
Death, life, matter, energy, everything that was a manifestation of other laws in this universe will simply be nicked in Kael’s world.
It was a world where Kael could become a god even before he attained divinity.
It was a world that ensured Kael would never be trapped by the terms and conditions of the other laws.
So what if they all died? So what if all the laws were to be washed away? So what if a disaster occurred and the lions were left all alone?
It didn’t matter.
The All-King had prepared the promised land. A world they could truly call theirs.
This wasn’t a planet in the mortalverse, it wasn’t a heavenly realm or some pocket space.
This was a world that would exist with and within Kael, but also exist without.
The Alphaverse, as Kael had called it.
He liked the name, it projected a sense of dominance, like a special type of universe that was superior to all other universes.
Even before Kael had seriously thought of exploring what lay beyond the universe, he was already creating his own universe.
At the fateful second, the very foundation of the Alphaverse was completed, allowing a world to be hollowed out in Kael.
It existed, and so it mattered.
Nothing was inside the Alphaverse, not yet. But it was there, and that was good.
Kael could now walk with confidence knowing fully well that he had a backup plan.
But were things that easy?
Were things that simple?
Did the All-King think he could establish the Alphaverse and go unnoticed?
Did he think he could go unpunished?
Within the golden dome, Kael’s torn and battered body began to crumble, and a mix of red and golden blood started seeping into his simple straw mat.
The laws came crashing down with even more force.
"Kael!" A voice echoed into Kael’s ears.
Kael’s eyes snapped open instinctively, only to find that he was no longer in Original Heaven.
He was in the memory space that houses all eight memories of the past Primordial Lions.
When Kael looked around, he could see that things were a bit different than last time.
The illusory figures of the past Primordials were still here, but they seemed little more...
...Animated.
"What is this?" Kael asked, gritting his teeth. Even as his mind was pulled into the Memory space, his body was still suffering outside.
"Kael!" The voice came again, echoing into the area with a majestic tone. Kael looked in the direction of the voice.
"Ishat?" Kael asked.
Kael could see it now, these Illusory figures were not just slightly more animated. They seemed to have literally come alive.
"What are you doing, Kael?" This time, the question came from Silax.
Kael paused, looking at all of them.
Alan, Bethel, Ishat, the nameless one, Silax, Jin, Derylia, and Noel.
All of them stood there, looking at Kael with different expressions.
One would think that they had truly come back to life.
But that was not true. Kael knew that the souls of all these previous Primordials had already withered into nothingness.
These Illusory figures were once the memories of the past Primordials. But as Kael had gotten stronger and stronger, his will and soul had bled into the memories.
They were not exactly conscious, but they also weren’t completely unalive. They were more like advanced artificial intelligence, they behaved intelligently, but that didn’t mean that they were real.
"Why am I here?" After thinking, Kael directed the question to the illusory figure of Jin.
"An intervention," Jin said, but his scarred face showed that he was not willing to be here.
Kael raised his brows.
"What you are doing, is too much," Bethel said as he took a step and walked closer to Kael’s consciousness.
Bethel was absolutely gorgeous, Kael had to admit even with the pain he was feeling.
Yeah, Primordial Lions were usually handsome, and Kael.was definitely very handsome, humanoid, or lion form.
But Bethel was just a whole lot of hot air. He was gorgeous, not handsome.
No wonder he had lain with so many lionesses in his lifetime, who could resist such a mighty chunk of absolute chad-ness.
"How so?" Kael asked, frowning.
"The lions have many dreams, Kael. But with what you are doing, we may as well forget about it," Bethel said.
Noel and Alan stayed silent.
"I don’t understand," Kael said honestly. These Illusory figures only existed because of the memories and the input from Kael’s will, but he could not read their thoughts or understand why he was here.
Silax shook his head, "Kael, making enemies with all the races in the universe is one thing.
But making an enemy out of the universe itself? Do you know what that is?
That is something you absolutely should not be doing."
Kael sighed. He would have called these predecessors of his cowards if not for the fact that he knew what they were talking about.
They were giving him a very serious warning.
"The universe has its steward, Kael. The Highest Will.
By doing this, you will gain his attention and the attention of all those who seek his favour." Ishat added.
Perhaps, if Kael was also an Illusory figure like them, he would be given the same advice.
But Kael could not take their warnings.
He could not afford to.
Not at this moment.
"Does it matter?" He asked.
"The lions were never going to sit still and play court with the universe."
"But do you think you can survive from now on?" Jin asked.
*CRACK!*
A loud crack resounded in the ears of the illusory figures. The memory space was cracking.
Kael’s face was deathly cold.
"If I perish, I perish. Would you rather I exist as the Highest Will’s plaything?
Wait till the right time? That’s how you guys got to where you are and that’s why I am here.
Fucking doing what you guys couldn’t!"
Alan and Noel closed their eyes. Their memories were too heavy to engage in this discussion.
"Do you think we didn’t try?" Silax asked.
"You did, but you didn’t succeed. And you got killed off.
Right time, wrong time.
It doesn’t matter because as long as I am still alive and as long as I am still Kael, I will not stop.
Let them come!
What’s the worst that could happen?"
"EXTINCTION!" Jin thundered.
"Then let us be!" Kael fired back, his eyes glowing with power.
Kael was not talking out of hot-bloodedness or arrogance.
One just had to look at the alternative to understand his actions.
Should he wait? Why? So that the enemies could cook up a way to deal with him properly?
The other races were all getting stronger, Primordials were at different parts of the cosmos waiting to be found.
If Kael waited, he would lose the race.
If he waited, the chances that he would just become another Primordial Lion in the history scrolls would become very high.
As Jin said, extinction was the worst thing that could happen.
But how was that Kael’s concern? If he were dead, that was the end
Why should he care about the progress of the lions when he was dead?
And what if more powerful entities antagonized him? That was under the assumption that Kael would let himself continue being vulnerable to them.
He would not.
"The Alphaverse has already been established! There is no going back now."
Kael’s consciousness started to fade away from the memory space.
*CRACK!*
The memory space began to crumble. Kael’s will began to retract, extracting all the memories that were here.
They had pulled Kael in without his permission. Kael knew that they could only do this because the memory space was created by the Highest Will.
This warning from the illusory figures of the Primordial Lions might as well be seen as an indirect warning message sent by the Highest Will.
That was an error Kael was not willing to tolerate. The memory space was to be destroyed and made new in the Alphaverse.
But at a later time.
Now, Kael was finally stepping into the path of immortality.
His evolution was complete.
