Soul World Of Strong Souls-Chapter 68: Missing Princess 3
The breeze blew and flowed around Gil and the King. The honest Gilthunder thought of telling the truth about the princess.
He said, "ahhh..."
Suddenly, the king interrupted him and said, "I’m sure she’s not in those carts."
Gilthunder thought. He said, ’No, absolutely not, she’s not there. What do you think, old man?’
He closely observed the soldiers who were going to the prison side. The castle prison was on the right side when you are coming from the gate. The carts were parked before the water fountain that was in the middle of the gate and mansion before reaching the mansion.
There was a way in on the right side of the fountain that was going to the prison. The king saw 2 soldiers pulling a brown-haired guy (Kaito).
Curiously he asked, "Wait a second, is that Goro?" he asked after he closely paid attention to the young man who was being pulled. If it was Goro, he wouldn’t allow anyone to pull him like that because all of the rumors and illustrations were showing that Goro was a giant and strong.
Astonished and a bit jumpy, Gilthunder asked, "Wait, who?" 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
The king clarified while he pointed there with his right hand. He said, "That young man who’s being pulled like a goat!"
Gil shook his head in denial and said, "No, that is the guy who’ll spend the night inside; he tried his best to stop us from arresting Goro!"
With his anger issues, the king said, "HUH, does he know that Goro is a murderer? He can also be charged with one of Goro’s murder charges if he tries anything silly."
A bit astonished, his face stretched as he raised both his eyebrows. He said, "HUH, is that even legal?"
The king explained, "It can be; disrupting the law can create unknown rumors, like maybe he was leading Goro. Commanding him to kill all of the Souls Goro took."
"Ohh, now I get it!"
"Good, so he should spend a week inside; we don’t tolerate nonsense!" the king said, his eyes closed, his hands behind him. He smoothly drifted his face towards the mansion entrance and finally turned around.
Gil tried to interrupt; his arms and hands were stretched towards the King while he said, "But...!"
"Dismissed!" the King cleanly said, with no argument and no interrupting judgement. He said this while he moved forward, towards the entrance.
Gilthunder saluted and said, "Yes, sir!" He glared at the king with a bit of doubt, but he had no power; he was just following orders.
The king raised his right hand with his index finger pointed up as he said, "Also take that Goro guy and put him in a different cell with his follower until we prepare his well-guarded cell!"
Respectfully, Gilthunder said, "Yes, sir!"
Gilthunder turned around and went towards the soldiers who were carrying Goro with a stretcher. They put him down the time when Gil was having a conversation with the king.
In a soldierly manner, Gil loudly said, "Hey! Let’s go, put him in a cell, different from that brown-haired brat!"
"Yes, sir!"
The soldiers carried Goro and went to the cell. Gilthunder escorted them. They threw the two new prisoners in prison and made sure that they were securely locked up. Goro was locked in with his chains that were tying his feet and hands just for safety.
If Goro was going to be freed from the chains, it was going to be troublesome to get him out, so it was going to be easy to just leave him like that. They only put him in some cuffs that made him move around if he woke up, and his hands were able to move around, and it was going to be easy for him to eat.
As for the king, he went back and told his wife the good and bad news.
He sat on his royal seat, and the queen was also sitting on her seat next to the king’s, in the throne room, with her face pale and curious, waiting for good news.
The king softly sighed when he sat on the throne. That made the queen ask, "Any good news?"
The king responded, "*sighed*, yep, but also, bad news still prevails!" he said as he started to rub fatigue in his eyes.
The queen frowned and said, "Aww, I hope it’s not that bad because the princess can come back, and she will love to see her bodyguard." she said with both of her hands on her chest, her face filled with sadness.
"That’s the bad news!" the king said, while he glared at the entrance with his red eyes.
"That’s bad; I don’t want to see her sad face, and it’s better to hide mine when she arrives." the queen said, sadness whirling in her heart. She also drifted her gaze off the king to the entrance that was in front.
"I don’t think that’s a good idea!" said the king.
"*Sniff*, no more bad news; what are the good ones?"
Softly and straight, the king responded, "Goro was caught!"
The queen’s face furrowed from curiosity and astonishment. "Huh?"
"Yep!" simply, the King replied.
The queen started smiling as she asked, "Wait, did you say Goro, like Goro, hehe?" The queen found it funny that Goro was captured. It was known that Goro couldn’t be captured that easily.
"This might sound like a joke..."
"Yes, obviously, tell me you are joking because it’s Goro we are talking about. The number one villain in Luminaris, and the top five are still out there, and you are saying Goro?"
With a lack of making his wife believe, he said, "Go and check out the prison; ask to see Goro!"
The queen smiled and relaxed on her chair as she said, "That is some good news for our peace of mind!"
The king nodded and said, "Yes!"
Suddenly, a male voice echoed from the entrance. He said, "May I come in?" The queen and king raised their eyes to the door and saw Gilthunder.
"Yes, come on in!" the queen said, with a smooth, genuine smile on her face.
Respectfully, he kneeled before the two thrones and greeted the queen since he didn’t see her when he saw the king. He said, "Good afternoon, my queen!"
She responded, "Hey Gil. Tell me I’m hearing the truth!"
Respectfully, he responded with confusion, "Ahh, I don’t know what you are talking about, my queen. And I’m here to report that Goro was safely locked up!"
"Pheww, Goro, huh?" Her heart rested after hearing those words.
"That’s good, Gil; thanks for your report!" the king said while he held his head with his right hand while he balanced it on the armrest.
"That is some wonderful news!" said the queen.
"This is the best news for now!" the king responded.
Her face changed while her eyes closed, and she said, "But there’s something stressing me. Where’s my daughter?"
"I don’t know; there should be someone who knows, maybe the soldiers, since no guard saw him."
*Clears throat,* "Ahh..." Gil said!
