The Seductive Pretty Boy of the Matriarchal World-Chapter 35: Kneel
Elias Kane acted as if he hadn’t heard anything. He picked up his knife and fork and began eating the steak that had been prepared well in advance.
Serena Blackwood seemed to have known exactly when he and Liora Voss would arrive. She had given the chef specific timing instructions, leaving the steak at medium-rare so the residual heat would slowly bring it to perfect doneness right then. One bite sent thick, rich juices bursting in his mouth, delivering an intense wave of satisfaction.
But while Elias found satisfaction, Serena clearly had not. She watched him sitting there unmoved at first, now actively cutting into the meat, and her tone grew heavier. "Come here. Sit on my lap."
Elias’s gaze lingered on the steak with visible reluctance. It was so good—what a shame. Still, he abruptly set down his utensils and stood. "I’m full. Thanks for the meal. I have class, so I’ll be going now."
The whole sequence flowed without a hitch.
Serena’s eyes darkened. "Stop right there."
Elias was beginning to understand why Serena had reserved the entire floor and ensured no waitstaff were present.
It let her reveal her true nature without restraint.
"The agreement doesn’t include any clause about sitting on your lap while eating, right?" Elias met her eyes directly, showing zero fear.
Serena uttered just eight words: "On call at all times. Whatever I want."
Anger flashed through Elias’s expression. "It also states that aside from sex, you can’t force anything else against my will!"
Serena let out a soft laugh. He’d made her angry so many times—it was only right that he experience it too.
This time the young man didn’t seem as composed as usual. Maybe because someone else was watching?
Serena glanced at Liora Voss, who was smiling as she observed the scene, clearly enjoying the show.
It looked like next time she should have Liora stay from start to finish to watch Elias properly.
With that thought, Serena’s gaze returned to Elias’s face. She smiled faintly. "Oh? Does me asking you to sit on my lap violate your wishes?"
Elias: "Obviously."
Serena tapped her fingers lightly on the table, speaking slowly. "Have you forgotten? Your father... is still in the hospital."
"Serena Blackwood!" It was the first time Elias called her by her full name. His anger exploded like a cat with all its fur standing on end, claws out in an instant. "Are you threatening me?"
"If you actually do anything to my dad, I’ll fight you to the end!"
The corner of Serena’s lips curved in disdain. Him threatening her? The words sounded like a joke.
She didn’t mind his direct address. Lifting her eyes to look up at him, her posture might have been lower but her presence loomed larger. "Do I look like someone who breaks the law? I avoid anything illegal."
"I simply won’t continue covering your father’s treatment anymore."
Elias breathed a small sigh of relief, his face cold. "We don’t need you for that."
Serena saw through his confidence right away—it stemmed from the ten million dollars she’d given him.
But since it was leverage she could use against him, she had no intention of letting it go.
Her smile disappeared, expression turning indifferent. "Then let’s try it. See whether your ten million can ease your father’s suffering."
Elias’s eyes widened. "What do you mean?"
Liora Voss spoke up at the right moment, her voice calm. "Some things can’t be solved with money. Like access to a top medical team. Do you realize the doctors treating your father are among the best in the world? Without my sister pulling strings, your ten million would only get a one-time consultation at most. Would they be providing this level of attentive care?"
Elias clearly hadn’t considered this. After Liora’s explanation, he understood how worthless his so-called leverage was in front of Serena. His momentum visibly drained away.
The young man’s lips moved as if he wanted to speak, but nothing came out. He simply stood there motionless.
He was waiting—for Serena to command him again. This time, he would obey. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
Serena recognized the submission in him at once, though the stubbornness lingered underneath. Otherwise he wouldn’t have been waiting for her to offer an opening.
She smiled inwardly.
Not only would she not give him that step, she would pull the rug out entirely.
Serena lifted her chin toward him, her voice cool. "Go on, then. Don’t you have class to get to?"
Then she turned to Liora. "Tell Dr. Williams and her team they can leave. She’s been complaining to me nonstop lately about how the living situation here isn’t as comfortable as her own hospital. Keeps saying I owe her a favor and won’t stop reminding me. Might as well send them back."
"No!" Elias suddenly cried out.
Serena slowly turned her gaze to him, amusement in her eyes and mockery on her face.
The young man seemed to realize he had no choice but to submit this time—and do it of his own accord. His handsome face flushed deep red. He began biting his lip again, those two sharp canines sinking into the lower one without mercy. A drop of blood slowly welled up on the full lip.
Serena didn’t rush him. She loved watching Elias struggle, torn inside, and ultimately forced to yield.
A plaything should have known his place long ago.
Moreover, she was starting to find the process of taming him quite entertaining.
Going from that defiant, bloodthirsty wildcat who refused to submit to a docile, obedient, and humble house cat—the contrast brought a pleasure that even Serena Blackwood, undefeated in the business world, found herself looking forward to.
[Serena Blackwood favorability increased. Current: 22%.]
The moment the notification sounded, Elias started moving. He walked toward Serena step by step, his pace excruciatingly slow.
Serena narrowed her eyes slightly. This slow? In that case...
"Kneel." Serena’s face stayed expressionless. "Since you’re moving so deliberately, match it with the appropriate posture."
*She’s really something,* Elias thought to himself.
This time he didn’t hesitate. Fury burned in his eyes, mixed with a trace of regret. His legs bent anyway. The instant his knees gave, kneeling no longer felt difficult. He dropped straight to the floor.
"Looks like you have a real talent for this," Serena said, patting her thigh. "Head here."
Elias stared at the long legs clad in black stockings before him and rested his chin on them with surprisingly little resistance.
Serena finally smiled. She reached out and stroked his golden hair. "Good boy."
