Chapter 122: Ch 122: What to Do- Part 4

I entered the PC Cafe from the back employee door because I did not want to be seen. My ability was working overtime to keep others from looking at me and erasing any evidence of my presence.

Once I changed, I appeared in the PC Cafe, only to see that the cafe looked to be on the verge of falling into chaos.

Theo looked distracted as he grabbed the wrong drinks from the kitchen to give to the customers, and Kesha was barely holding back from cursing the customers.

Rhiner was the one who was holding Kesha back, and Emma looked beyond worried but not in a position to say anything.

"Emma, I am back."

I told the beta female, and she looked relieved to see me enter the PC Cafe.

"Kyle, you are back! Are you done with your work? No, more importantly—go and help everyone out, please. I don’t think they can take it anymore."

I nodded before I headed toward the kitchen and grabbed a few orders to deliver. As soon as I did that, I headed toward Kesha to get her out of the service.

After all, a waiter yelling at customers was much worse than the one who accidentally delivered the wrong dish to your table.

It had nothing to do with the fact that Theo had a pleasant face most of our customers liked, so he was going to be forgiven easily compared to Kesha.

’Alright, let’s deal with one problem at a time.’

I headed toward the beta hunter, who looked ready to rip anyone apart, and I knocked her shoulder to let her know I was there.

"-you think you are? How dare you-! And how are you now? Can’t you see that I am a little busy here?"

Kesha asked as I tried to grab her attention. Rhiner signaled for me not to do anything because Kesha was so agitated, but I could not do that. I did need to stop her, if only for her own good.

"Excuse me, but you might want to calm down. You are going to scare the customer at this rate—"

"Who are you to tell me what to do, huh-? Do you have a death wish, you punk? Do you want to die—"

The female raged as she turned toward me, and I was almost certain she was going to throw a punch at me.

So I acted before she did that and grabbed her arm to pull her away from the customer.

The customer looked startled, and I gave him a small bow.

"I apologize for this. I will be back to take your order soon."

I told the customer, and the customer looked too taken aback to say anything. He just gave me a look that I ignored before I pulled Kesha away.

She tried to break my hold on her a few times before she realized that she wouldn’t be able to do that.

With a stunned look on her face, she was dragged behind me, and I took her to the break room.

As soon as we were alone, Kesha exploded.

"Y-You-! What is your problem? And let me go! How dare you grab me like this. Do you have any idea who I am-?" 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

The female asked, and I answered with a straight face.

"You are Kesha, the current rank #10 hunter. But so what? Just because you are high-ranked does not mean you get to do whatever you want here. The customers are not here for you to vent your anger out."

I told the beta, and she looked too stunned to move for a whole minute.

And then she opened her mouth to speak once more.

"Y-You know who I am? And you still... chose to go against me? Who do you think you are? Ace or something?"

The female asked, and I chose not to reply. Instead, I turned toward Rhiner because I had a feeling he would be more willing to hear me out.

"You can take Kesha back to the guild now. I will take over from here. I don’t think she’s the right person to be in the service industry."

I told Rhiner, and he sighed.

"You are right about that. I don’t know what Lynn was thinking by sending Kesha here. It’s a good thing I tagged along."

"Tsk, how dare you say that Lynn was wrong to trust me—"

"Then, I will ask you to take her back now."

I cut Kesha off before she could speak. My hand was on her arm, and I pressed her pressure point that caused her to almost collapse.

That made it easier for Rhiner to pick her up and leave with her.

Once that was taken care of, I quickly went out to serve people. But Theo did not notice that I was back.

He seemed to be in a world of his own as he kept making the wrong deliveries.

Most of the customers he did this to were too lost in his face to say anything, and the others were also taking it rather calmly.

It seemed as if today was Theo’s lucky day or something.

But one of the customers decided that he had a problem with Theo and the wrong order, and he decided to cause trouble.

"-I asked for no peanuts. What if I had an allergy to them or something? You shit head-! Do you want to be fired? Where is your manager-?"

I moved quickly and stood in front of Theo before he could react. Somehow, I knew that Theo was going to do something reckless and foolish if I left him alone.

So I decided to help him out.

"Sir, please calm down. Are you allergic to peanuts? If so, then allow me to grab you another drink. Let it be on the house."

I told the customer, and he looked at my face before deciding that I was more trustworthy.

"Fine-! I will allow things to slide this time. But don’t you fucking make the same mistake again. Do you hear me? And you-! I will file a complaint against you."

The customer told Theo before he sat down for his drink, and I dragged Theo back to the waiting room.
