She held her violin in position and smiled at the camera.

She introduced herself and the title of the song.

Immediately, she started playing.

The songs from the game had that quality to hold one's attention and captivate them. She was playing the song of the gracious one.

Jin Kang knew right away that she was not playing the song of the the crabby serpent. There was no dance to this one, it was smoother. This was something else, something new. She had not been paying attention when Alix introduced the song because her attention was on Holea for a few seconds.

This was much better than the song of the crabby serpent. It would hold the attention of the judges, whet their appetite and make them desire a second listen.

Five minutes went by like five seconds and Alix stopped playing. She didn't even continue for one extra second. She just stopped playing at once, ending the beautiful picture which was just beginning to form in everyone's minds.

"But, what is this? Teacher, you can't stop now." Qing Rao was the first to complain loudly.

Alix knew exactly what effect listening would have on everyone and she laughed. "No, I have to save it for the judges."

"Teacher....." Qing Rao cried out, mourning pitifully.

"For real, I was just beginning to form an idea for my next song. I could see something but it had not yet formed. You have to play again." Chan Ki added her voice to Qing Rao.

Elder Ren didn't complain but he looked at the painting which he had just started. Just the head and two eyes.

It looked like Majesty but also not. They eyes had a fierceness, an intensity that was quite not cat like.

One of the students noticed it and she gasped.

"Wow!!" She gasped.

Her gasp brought the other students hurrying to look. Whatever it was, the national painter had probably painted something worth looking at it. However, all they saw was an incomplete drawing. The eyes still captivated them all.

Elder Ren grabbed the nearest white cloth and covered his drawing. He figured that he needed to look at Majesty again or Alix needed to play this exact tune as he painted.

"Teacher, I haven't seen it yet." One of the students complained.

Elder Ren cleared his throat and asked. "Have you all finished drawing your apples? If your work is unsatisfactory don't you dare claim me as your teacher in public."

The students groaned and returned to their working stations.

Alix meanwhile put the violin away and locked it up.

"Teacher...." Qing Ruo continued to whine.

"Why don't you bring your cellos out and I teach you the famous God's world. If you can master it in one week then I will invite you to a private listening of just me playing my compositions here at the school."

Qing Ruo didn't need to go looking for her cello. When they came to listen to Alix, she and Mu Dafa had come with their cellos.

Alix assumed teaching mode and she got a flute out of her bag.

"Okay, you guys have never heard me play the flute before so prepare to be wowed. God's world is one of the oldest and longest classic cello and flute compositions. It is not a joke. I hope your hands can keep up because no one is resting for an hour." She warned them.

Qing Ruo and Mu Dafa nodded.

Never one to let an opportunity be wasted, Jin Kang texted one of the teacher's and told him to invite all the cello students outside.

As Alix taught the students and played the flute, Caishen finally noticed Holea. He was already aware of who she was due to the background check on Alix.

The first thought which crossed his mind was the recollection of Alix telling him about Holea's helpful brother.

He had come with the intention to meet her friends today but he wanted to do it with her there, not alone so he said nothing.

"You are Alix's husband." Holea stated. She wanted to talk whether he wanted to or not.

Caishen turned his body to the right slightly and looked at her.

"I am." He responded.

Both of them said it in a rigid dull way. Their statements were not questions but rather declarations to ascertain facts.

"Why did you marry her?" She asked him. "Don't say love. You didn't know her before that wedding."

Caishen raised his brows a bit. He asked himself how much this friend of Alix knew about their marriage. Was she read in on every detail? Whatever it was, she had no right to question him about his personal business.

"I don't have to answer that." He replied.

"Fair enough." She answered.

Her response made her out to be a sensible person as the information on her had suggested. She was the protector of their little group.

"Are you a bastard?" She asked him.

He frowned for a few seconds, squinting too as he analysed her question. Bastard had different meanings so which did she mean?

"Alix has only dated bastards. I love my friend and I would probably help her hide a body if she killed someone." Holea looked at Caishen coldly and deliberately when she said that.

There was a subtle underlying point behind her words that she didn't articulate but got across to Caishen.

Mo Sen wondered if he should categorise this as a threat. It sounded like one.

"Anyway, what I mean is that my friend has only dated bastards. Men that wanted her money mostly. Not that she had a lot but she is pretty and hardworking. She is also annoyingly sweet, caring and loyal even to people that don't deserve it."

Holea's face twisted as she thought about the Lin's.

"I know that you don't love her. It's too soon in your relationship to claim love. I don't know if she loves you but I know she cares for you which is why I am going to warn you. Don't try to take advantage of her goodness to you. Alix will move heaven and earth for the people she cares about. She is one of those idiots that would rather go hungry than let the one they love go hungry."

This was something which always frustrated Holea when it came to Alix. Her generosity sometimes knew no bounds.

Holea knew this because she witnessed Alix once giving that idiot ex of hers the money for her food expenses that month.

That bastard had gone to post himself on weibo eating in fine establishments with other actors. And what about Alix, did he care if she was starving or not?

He absolutely didn't.
