A month passed and with Fu Mingze’s help, Yang Meiyi was able to save Sang Enterprise from bankruptcy and since she had no interest in running the company, she decided to hire a professional manager who would take care of the affairs of the company and thankfully Fu Mingze agreed with her decision.

Now they were supposed to have dinner with Grandpa Fu by 6 pm but even when the time was 4:30 pm, Yang Meiyi made no plans of getting up. She laid on the bed and kept muttering "I’m so tired."

Fu Mingze chuckles and asks "From what?" Though fully dressed, he lay beside her and kissed her forehead as he pulled her into his arms.

"From doing that pregnancy exercise. I am not doing any form of exercise again, it’s so exhausting."

"Next time, should I come with you?"

"There won’t be a next time. Mingze, will you still love me if I become fat?"

Fu Mingze laughed softly and replied "Yes Meiyi, I will always love you regardless of your size. If you don’t want to exercise anymore then it’s fine."

Yang Meiyi smiled and pecked his lips as she said "I have the best husband in the world. I change my mind, I’m going to continue the exercise and remain fit."

"Now can we get up from the bed?" Fu Mingze asked with a smile.

"But I don’t know what to wear." Yang Meiyi said softly as she hid her face in his chest to feel his heartbeat, she found herself kissing the place where his heart resides and heard him saying "I will pick out your clothes for you while you go take a shower."

Yang Meiyi sighed and after a few seconds, she finally got up from the bed.

Fu Mingze watched with a smile as his wife entered the bathroom, he also got up and walked to her wardrobe to choose a dress for her.

Yang Corporation which was known to be one of the rising companies became a company that barely escaped bankruptcy. It took a month but Yang Jiu was finally able to clear his name from being the murderer of Sang Shao. The woman who was accused of killing Sang Shao suddenly confessed that she lied because he didn’t make her his wife after Sang Xiu died. He knew his daughter had something to do with the maid’s confession but he didn’t bother to pursue the case since he was free from being called a murderer.

Although his name was clear, Yang Corporation still suffered a heavy loss and due to the project that Sky Corporation stole from him, the Sky Corporation has become more famous and well-known but even now, no one knows who the president of Sky Corporation is, some say it’s a woman while others say it’s a man.

Yang Jiu heard a knock on the door and knowing it was his daughter whom he had sent for a while ago, he said "Come in."

Yang Jia entered her father’s office and took notice of his tired eyes. It hasn’t been easy ever since they lost that project, a lot of top investors pulled out, and saving Yang corporation from bankruptcy was a miracle.

She did ask Gu Zhen for support but even he decided to abandon her and instead chose to flaunt his fiancee everywhere he goes, what a huge joke if he thinks she will allow Nie Yujie to be his wife.

"Have you figured out a way to make the Gu Corporation invest in this company?" Yang Jiu asked as he went to the small bar in his office and brought out a drink for himself.

Yang Jiu watched her father who has been doing more drinking than working lately and said "I have figured out a way. No matter how hard Gu Zhen tries, he can never forget me. I will forever be a part of his life."

Yang Jiu looked at her belly and quickly walked toward her as he asked "Are you saying that you are pregnant?"

Yang Jia shook her head with a smile and said "I’m not but tonight I will be. Gu Zhen has agreed to meet with me one more time and I will be able to change everything before he ties the knot with Nie Yujie."

"Their marriage is expected to happen in two months."

"That marriage will never happen, Gu Zhen will never get married to Nie Yujie."

"And how will you stop it, do you plan to kill her?"

"If I have to then I will. I am the only one who can become Gu Zhen’s wife, me, and no one else." Yang Jia said possessively.

Yang Jiu looked at his daughter and a bit of guilt emerged from within him, no matter how hard he tried to deny it, he knew he was partly responsible for the monster his daughter had become but she was still his daughter and he would protect her, no matter what.

Dressed in a long red gown with a little slit, Yang Meiyi and Fu Mingze both arrived at the Fu Mansion.

Yang Meiyi saw two unfamiliar cars parked outside and asked "Is Grandpa having other guests apart from us?"

"Nor that I know of." Fu Mingze replied. He held Yang Meiyi’s hand and they both walked to the door.

Fu Mingze knocked gently and within a few seconds the door was opened by Bulter Xia who welcomed them with a smile and said "The old master is already waiting for you at the dining table."

Fu Mingze led Yang Meiyi to the dining table when he heard an unpleasant voice saying "You are three minutes late, is this the habit an heir of the Fu group is supposed to inhabit?"

Fu Mingze looked at the owner of that unpleasant voice and asked "You ....why are you here?"

"Why wouldn’t I be here? Are you saying that your uncle and his family are not welcome to the Fu Mansion?" Fu Hong asked coldly.

Yang Meiyi sighed when she saw not only Fu Hong but also his wife and his son. She thought tonight was going to be a peaceful dinner but it turns out that tonight was going to be more drama than food.
